Lynn McPherson was born in Calgary, Alberta, a beautiful city in the Canadian prairies where she spent her happy childhood playing with her family and friends or daydreaming about the nearby Rocky Mountains. Moving across the country to the suburbs of Toronto during her preteen years she developed an interest in exploring new places and seeing the world.
After completing an undergraduate degree in social science at McMaster University, Lynn became focused on travelling and spent most of her twenties in various locations around the world from Vancouver to London to Thailand. Happiest as a solo traveler, she had many incredible times meeting new people and finding adventure wherever she roamed. Following a year teaching English in Korea, she went home, started a business with a good friend, and opened a golf range. Having absolutely no knowledge of what she had gotten herself into, she committed nonetheless with only the promise of winters off to keep her travel bug happy.
Five years passed and Lynn settled down. She met her soul mate and had two amazing kids. She has happily stayed in the Toronto suburb of Oakville ever since, giving her enough time to finally begin her dream of becoming an author. She is currently in the process of publishing her first cozy mystery. It is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2017 with Black Opal Books.
